How to Assemble and Install Minisol Aerosol Fire Extinguisher

Minisol is a specialized aerosol fire extinguisher which is launched by our company, which has been widely recognized by the public.

Its outer shell material is top-grade 304 stainless steel tube, which is very sturdy. The product shape is like a round barrel, and the assembly and installation method of such a cylindrical product will also be quite unique.

Some customers given us feedback that they do not know how to assemble the bracket and screws, and do not know how to install the aerosol generator.

In theory, technicians can install according to the instructions in the manual, but in practice, installation personnel often make mistakes.

But in fact, the installation and assembly of this fire suppression product is also very simple, we would like to specifically describe and clarify this issue here.

Configuration of assembly and installation personnel

The installation or assembly personnel must be of the following types:

Skilled professional installation personnel.
Mature technical personnel who understand the working principle and installation matters.
Specially trained workers who understand circuits, and know how to do assembly and installation job.

How to Assemble the Bracket and Screws of this Aerosol Fire Extinguisher

First, let’s list the specific material:

Minisol aerosol fire extinguisher body.
Connector or plug-in connector.
Wire or thermal cord.
Clamp.
Non standard self-locking screws.
“L” Shape or “U” Shape installation bracket.
Flat pad.
Spring pad.
Hexagonal screws.
Starting components: aviation plugs, thermo glass bulbs and external thermal cords, etc.

Secondly, The assembly steps are as follows:

Step 1: Check if the assembly accessories are complete.
Step 2: Place the ring clamp on the aerosol fire extinguishing device and install non-standard screws.
Step 3: Connect the L-shaped or U-shaped bracket to the clamp using screws and nuts.

Thirdly, Selection of screw and bracket materials:

The bracket and screw material should have anti-corrosion function.
The thickness of the bracket should be at least 2 millimeters.
Screws should preferably have anti vibration and anti detachment functions.
Should be able to carry a weight of over 100 kilograms.
The surface needs to be passivated to avoid injury.

How to Install the Minisol Aerosol Fire Extinguisher

The method of installing aerosol fire extinguishers is very simple, just use tools to fix it on the wall or ceiling of the installation site. The basic installation steps are as follows:

Find a suitable installation location on the side walls or ceiling.
Use an electric drill and a level to determine the installation hole position.
Fix the product with mounting bracket on the inner side or ceiling.
Adjust the direction and orientation of the product nozzle, and arrange the thermal and circuit lines properly.
If installed with 3M adhesive or magnet, there is no need for brackets and screws. Simply stick the product to the inside or the top of the ceiling.

The minisol aerosol fire extinguisher have different capacities, capacity 30 to 500 grams is with L shape support, capacity 750 to 3000 grams is with U shape support.

Solution for Missing Accessories During Assembly or Installation

If accessories are missing during product assembly or installation, the solution is as follows:

Firstly, check if your company has spare parts for the missing parts, or if it is possible to purchase them directly from the local market.
If not, check the accessory models of aerosol fire extinguishers first, and then report to the local distributor or manufacturer, the manufacturer or distributor will provide the missing installation accessories free of charge.

Installation Under Special Circumstances: Magnet With 3M Double-Sided Tape Installation

In some special enclosed areas, such as iron distribution cabinets, the installation of this product can be done without brackets and screws, instead using magnets and 3M double-sided adhesive, as shown in the following figure:

This installation method is simpler, just stick the product onto the iron plate. (Note: This installation method is only suitable for aerosol fire extinguishers with extinguishing capacity of no more than 500 grams. Larger fire extinguishers are prone to falling off the wall after installation).

Normally, do not use magnets+3M adhesive for installation, but use clamps and brackets for installation, Because the clamps and brackets are more secure.

Precautions During Assembly and Installation

Unpacking inspection before assembly and installation work, Check if the accessories are complete, a complete list of accessories includes: instruction manual, certificate of conformity, label, aerosol product body, electric starter aviation plug, thermal cord, thermo glass bulb, installation bracket and screw.
When assembling brackets, clamps, and screws, pay attention to the assembly sequence and position of each component and do not install them incorrectly.
During installation, ensure that the wall or ceiling is sturdy and secure to prevent the aerosol fire extinguishing device from loosening and falling off.
Please do not turn on the power during installation, do not ignite the thermal wire, and do not break the thermo glass bulb.
Assembly and installation work should preferably be carried out by skilled personnel.
During installation, installation personnel need to be equipped with professional installation tools and wear gloves.
After installation, check again whether the product is firmly installed.
