Aerosol fire extinguishing system is generally more feasible for large defence zones, and there are generally two types of this system:
- Floor-mounted Type.
- Wall-mounted or Suspended Type.
Floor-mounted and suspended aerosol systems are very similar in terms of fire suppression performance, but theie installation ways are different.
Floor-mounted aerosols are generally placed directly on the baseboard of the defence zone, or in a corner, whereas suspended aerosols are mounted on the ceiling or wall.
What they have in common:
- Protect larger spaces, but preferably not more than 2,000 cubic metres.
- Enclosure Space.
- The main areas are: kraftdistributionsrum, generatorrum, data room, server rum, computer room and so on.
They are not suitable for use in semi-enclosed or open spaces, such as open steel workshops, open warehouses, petrol stations etc.
